Alabama Splash Adventure - An exciting Adventure with exciting thrill rides in our Theme Park and eight different water slides in the Water Park. Fun for everyone.

Alabama Jazz Hall of Fame - Exhibits convey the accomplishments of the likes of Nat King Cole, Duke Ellington, Lionel Hampton and Erskine Hawkins and the music that made them famous. Within this fine musical collection, visitors travel from the beginnings of boogie woogie with Clarence "Pinetop" Smith to the jazz space journeys of Sun Ra and his Intergalactic Space Arkestra.

Alabama Sports Hall of Fame - The ASHOF is a magnificent state treasure, dedicated to the celebration and preservation of Alabama’s exceptional sports heritage.

Alabama Theatre - The Alabama Theatre was built in 1927 by Paramount Studios as an Alabama showcase for Paramount films. Today you can tour the facility and enjoy live events.

American Village - American Village near Montevallo presents reenactments of the Colonial period, especially times and events that shaped American history. Stroll through Constitution Green, the Southern Living Colonial Gardens and Liberty Bell Garden commemorating more than 250 years of Freedom.

Barber Motorsports Park - Over 900 vintage and modern motorcycles are on display at The Barber Motorsports Park. The exhibits feature bikes from 1904 to present day and from 16 different countries.

Bessemer Hall of History Museum - Bessemer Hall of History Museum is housed in a restored railroad depot with displays of fossils, American Indian artifacts, pioneer items, Civil War memorabilia and a collection of old telephones and business machines.

Birmingham Botanical Gardens - Birmingham Botanical Gardens is Alabama's largest living museum with more than 10,000 different plants in its living collections. The Gardens' 67.5 acres contains 25+ unique gardens, 30+ works of original outdoor sculpture and miles of serene paths.

Birmingham Civil Rights Institute - Trace the footsteps of brave men and women who stirred the conscience of a nation and influenced the course of the international struggle for human rights.

Birmingham Museum of Art - The Birmingham Museum of Art is recognized as one of the finest art museums in the Southeast. Its collection includes more than 18,000 ancient and modern works of art.

Birmingham Zoo - Come and get up close and personal with some humongous reptiles! Ride the train and see the transformation of Trails of Africa and visit the new exhibit, Predator Zone. Visit all your animal friends at the Birmingham Zoo.


Heart of Dixie Railroad Museum - The museum is dedicated to the preservation, restoration, and operation of historically significant railway equipment. Our exhibits, operating railroads, and educational programs function as both a unique means of tourism and recreation, and also a way to preserve the rich history of Alabama and our nation.

McWane Science Center - McWane Science Center features four floors of interactive exhibits. All exhibits celebrate science and wonder - from an amazing collection of dinosaurs to innovative environmental showcases, imaginative early childhood playgrounds, and an awe-inspiring aquarium.

Oak Mountain State Park - Oak Mountain State Park, with almost 10,000 acres of mountains, lakes, and forests is suited to hiking, biking, and fishing, golfing, horse-back riding, and other day use facilities.

Rickwood Caverns State Park - Rickwood Caverns State Park is the site of underground caverns with 260 million-year-old limestone formations, blind cave fish and underground pools. The park also features an Olympic size swimming pool, picnic area and campground.

Rickwood Field - Built in 1910 for in the city's then-professional baseball team, the Coal Barons, Rickwood Field is being restored to look the way it did in its 1940s heyday, all the way down to the hand-operated scoreboard.

Ruffner Mountain Nature Preserve - Enjoy a short stroll or explore the mountain for an all day adventure. Sloss Furnaces National Historic Landmark - Sloss Furnaces produced iron for nearly 90 years, which gave rise to the city of Birmingham. Now recognized as a National Historic Landmark, Sloss Furnaces with its web of pipes and tall smokestacks offers us a glimpse into the great industrial past of the South and our nation.

Vulcan Park and Museum - Vulcan, Birmingham, Alabama's colossal statue is the world's largest cast iron statue and considered one of the most memorable works of civic art in the United States. Designed by Italian artist Giuseppe Moretti and cast from local iron in 1904, it has overlooked the urban landscape of Alabama's largest city since the 1930s.
