Squishing of the Squash - The Oregon Zoo's annual Squishing of the Squash, in which some of the world's largest land animals demolish some of the area's largest pumpkins. "At the Squishing of the Squash, our elephant herd will receive several big pumpkins to pulverize," said zoo event coordinator Krista Swan. "This is a great photo opportunity, so bring your camera."

Christmas Ship Parade - The Christmas Ship Fleet averages about 55 to 60 boats between the Columbia and Willamette River fleets. Things have changed from the first lone ship. Now the displays are brightly lit and can be seen from bank to bank on each river. Don't miss out on this unique display of lights!

Cinco De Mayo Fiesta - Portland Guadalajara Sister City Association (PGSCA) presents the annual Cinco de Mayo Fiesta- dedicated to promoting Latino culture, arts, education, economic and intercultural partnerships, and goodwill between the cities of Portland and Guadalajara.

Corn Maize - This fun event includes a tractor drawn hayride, pumpkins, apples, hay maze, corn maze, and a place to have a picnic lunch or dinner! Don't miss out on this terrific event taking place all October!

Halloween Fantasy Trail - For 18 years the Wenzel family farm has opened its doors so that your family may visit the Fantasy Trail. The Fantasy Trail is over 1,000 feet of wooded walkway all decorated up for the Halloween and Christmas Season. Take a Halloween walk through a lighted, wooded, Fantasy Trail, decorated with spooky sights and sounds.

Holiday Ale Festival - More than 50 potent winter ales are featured at this event, all of which are created specifically to bring warmth and cheer to the holiday season. These aren't beers you'll find in the supermarket - our brewers have put together special recipes just for the Holiday Ale Festival.


Pioneer Family Festival - Carnival games and rides, parades, live music, entertainment, activities, demonstrations, a food court, and vendor booths will highlight the Pioneer Family Festival at Clackamette Park.

Portland Indie Wine & Food Festival - Join 40 craft producers that represent the heart and soul of Oregon’s world-class wine industry as they pour their wines during the annual Portland Indie Wine & Food Festival. Most of the wines being poured are very limited in production and not widely available to purchase.

Portland International Film Festival - Drawing an audience of over 35,000, the Portland International Film Festival (PIFF) is the biggest film event in Oregon, premiering over 100 international shorts and feature films to Portland audiences each February. Audiences can experience a variety of parties, visiting artists, and plenty of festival adventure taking in this feast of cinematic fare.

Portland Rose Festival - Attended by more than two million people, the festival is annually one of the top three most highly decorated events. Among the festival's most popular events are the Grand Floral Parade, one of the nation's top two all-floral parades, and the WaMu Waterfront Village, which features the Best Children's Programming in the World.

Portland Seafood & Wine Festival - The event will be a very upscale yet festive event at the Oregon Convention Center, promising a climate-controlled facility with lots of on-site and surrounding parking. Over 98,000 square feet of exhibit space will allow for lots of room to wander the event while stopping to sit and enjoy the good food, drink and live music throughout the event.

The Bite of Oregon - The Bite of Oregon is produced as a fund-raising event by Special Olympics Oregon for athletes around the state. From coast to Cascades to canyons, the Bite of Oregon is a stunning celebration of Oregon, its food, its people and its extraordinary quality of life. Come join the fun at the best summer party on the Portland waterfront!

Portland Pet Expo - The Unique Animal Expo is open to the public and trade buyers. We offer 114 vendor booths. The Exhibit area is setup so that Live Birds and Supplies are in one area, Live Reptiles and Supplies are in another area, and Live Mammals and Supplies in another area. Through out the whole area is Animal related Merchandise.
