Celebrate Fitness - Spend a morning working out to benefit breast cancer research and treatment at Siteman. Celebrate Fitness is held on the campus of Washington University every spring. International Institute's Festival of Nations - The International Institute's Festival of Nations unites the world's many cultures for a two-day event. Musical performances, dance troupes & drum circles keep festival-goers feet tapping while the international cuisine offerings delight the senses. St. Louis African Arts Festival - The St. Louis African Arts Festival is a celebration of the many contributions Africans and African-Americans have made to the multiculturalism in and around St. Louis and the overall impact on Western culture. Children and adults have plenty to see and experience at the African Arts Festival. |
Saint Louis Art Fair - The most competitive art show in the nation takes over the Clayton Business District for one weekend in September at the St. Louis Arts Fair that boasts over 140 exhibitor booths. Each year over 1,500 artists from all 50 states plus multiple international artists apply for one of the coveted spots. In addition to the art exhibits there are also 165 visual artists who participate in the St. Louis Art Fair and the throngs of eager spectators number in the thousands. St. Louis Tap Festival - The St. Louis Tap Festival is a week long event that educates, promotes, and celebrates the American art form of tap dance. We bring the world's best tap dancers to teach classes, perform, and to inspire kids in the St. Louis area and throughout the world. The week long event contains master workshops, performances, tap jams, dances, a panel discussion, and more. Twangfest - It’s a place where incredible musical performers from all over the country play before the most fervent bunch of music lovers that they or you will ever meet. We often say that Twangfest is a big tent; the big top of a musical three-ring circus, filled with the sights and sounds that make roots music so vibrant and inspirational. |
