California State Railroad Museum - California State Railroad Museum is the largest train museum in the country. Dedicated to accuracy and detail, the California State Railroad Museum, located in historic Old Sacramento, recreates the golden days of American railroading circa 1849.

Discovery Park - Discovery Park is where the American River meets the Sacramento River. One of Sacramento County’s best boat launches, recreational boaters get the chance to explore both of Sacramento’s wild and scenic rivers.

Fairytale Town - Let your imagination run wild at Fairytale Town, a 2.5-acre children's play park and outdoor children’s museum that brings fairytales and nursery rhymes to life! Over 25 bright and colorful play sets give young children a backdrop to act out their favorite stories, encourage creative discovery, and exercise their minds and bodies on child-friendly slides throughout the lush grounds.

Funderland - Conveniently located across from the Sacramento Zoo, Funderland is an amusement park designed for kids 12 and under. Popular rides include the Tea Cups, the Dragon Coaster, the Airplanes, and the Funderland Train.

Sonoma TrainTown - Whether you're an over-sophisticated or under-sophisticated train enthusiast, make tracks to Sonoma TrainTown and spend a day in the heart of Wine Country riding on "grand" scale trains.
