Annual Ho`olaule`a Hawaiian Festival - This event highlights Polynesian Entertainment and includes islander arts and crafts, games, island style cuisine, drawings, prizes. Come and enjoy this event with old friends and meet new ones. Aloha!

Carnaval Primavera - The annual Mardi-Gras themed Huntington Park family festival includes arts, crafts, carnival rides, and revelry. The festivities will include performances by various musicians. The three-day event will take place on Pacific Boulevard, between Gage and Slauson avenues, in Huntington Park.

Cinco de Mayo - Los Angeles has the largest Cinco de Mayo street fair in the world, as well as many smaller celebrations in individual neighborhoods.

Dia de Los Muertos - This celebration pays tribute to those who have died. The Los Angeles celebration is the largest and most authentic celebration in the United States of America.

Italian Feast of San Gennaro Los Angeles - This annual event celebrates Italian culture, food, and entertainment. It features live music, street performers, strolling musicians, a kid's area, and rides and games. Wine and food samples are available, and guests can learn how to cook Italian food, play Bocce ball and bingo, and much more.

LA County Fair - The largest county fair in North America! Filled with all kinds of exhibits and attractions, carnivals, competitions, concerts, shows, food, horse races, and shops. Fun for the whole family! Held in September/October.

LA Marathon - The Largest field in Los Angeles Marathon history and one of the largest spectator turn‐outs ever creates an electric atmosphere for the Los Angeles Marathon. The race created multiple firsts for this event, begun in 1986, with the largest number of registrants.

Hollywood Film Festival - In the last 7 years, 65 Oscar nominations and 21 Oscars were given to films that were shown at this annual film festival. This is the Hollywood Film Festival! Held every October, it was designed to "bridge the gap between established Hollywood, indie filmmakers and the global creative community, as well as to honor excellence in the art of film making".

The Hollywood Black Film Festival - Otherwise known as "The Black Sundance", Hollywood's Black Film Festival is a six-day event celebrating Black movie makers and cinema. This festival takes place in June.

The Hollywood Christmas Parade - This Exciting Parade has been a tradition for over 80 years in the streets of Hollywood. The parade features high school marching bands from across the nation, celebrities from the area, and of course, Santa Claus! Grandstand seat tickets are available on the website towards the end of the year.


Oktoberfest - Put on your Lederhosen and get your stein ready for the LA Oktoberfest! Sample traditional German Foods & Drinks. Bavarian bands playing lively tunes and leading sing-along's of old time drinking songs.

Old Fort MacArthur Days and Artillery Show - For more than twenty years now the Fort MacArthur Museum has sponsored what has turned into the west's largest multicultural celebration of world military history. What began as a small gathering of cannon enthusiasts has blossomed into a truly spectacular event showcasing the history of military activity from around the world and across time. Don't miss this once in a life time experience!

Renaissance Pleasure Faire - Our Faire is 20 acres of pure fun! 13 stages offer variety entertainment all day long. In addition, we dazzle you with a fully armored joust, the Queen and her glittering Court, amazing arts and crafts, delicious food, fine spirits, music, dance, parades, rides and games. Join us for a day of play!

Tournament of Roses/Rose Parade - Each New Year's Day, the world focuses its attention on Pasadena, California, located just to the north east of Los Angeles. Home of the Rose Parade, and Rose Bowl Game, the Tournament of Roses celebrates a festival of flowers, music and sports unequaled anywhere in the world. It's America's New Year Celebration, a greeting to the world on the first day of the year, and a salute to the community spirit and love of pageantry that have thrived in Pasadena for more than a century.

The Malibu Triathlon - The Nautica Malibu Triathlon is held every year in September. The competition is a series of races that include a half-mile ocean swim, an 18 mile bike race, and a four mile run. Awards are given out and checks of thousands of dollars go towards causes and organizations. Celebrities like to join the fun by participating in some of the yearly events.

The Sunset Strip Music Festival - This music festival takes place on California's Sunset Strip every August. Performances take place at various music clubs up and down the strip, including the Cat Club, the House of Blues, the Roxy Theater, and the Key Club.

The West Hollywood Book Fair - This Book Fair, which takes place every late September, was established to encourage reading, writing, and literacy. Visitors can participate in various events hosted by exhibitors, watch theatrical performances, participate in slam poetry, get books signed, and much more. Guest appearances by celebrity authors happen throughout the fair.

The West Hollywood Costume Carnaval - The West Hollywood Halloween Costume Carnaval is the largest Halloween street party in the world. Thousands make their way to the Santa Monica Boulevard to see the craziest costume creations ever. Events include Halloween Costume Contest, the Crowing of the Carnaval queen, live entertainment, food vendors, pumpkin-carving contests, and children's activities throughout the week prior to the party. Admission is free.
