Bumbershoot Festival - Bumbershoot is held every Labor Day weekend at the 74-acre Seattle Center, which was built for the 1962 World's Fair. During a Festival weekend you can see over 250 scheduled performances at 20 different venues, and less than half of those are music stages! Bumbershoot is the biggest festival of its kind in North America—a regular mecca for art fiends and pop culture gluttons.

Seattle Cherry Blossom & Japanese Cultural Festival - Held at Seattle Center in April, this annual event celebrates Japanese Culture and the USA's relationship with Japan. Watch a Go Tournament, visit Arts & Crafts Booths, dine on traditional Cuisine see Exhibits and Performances. Come and enjoy Japanese culture.

Seafair - From pristine waterways to picturesque mountains, we all agree that the Puget Sound has no comparison. The festival hosts events throughout the summer including a Milk Carton Derby, the Seafair Triathlon, Fleet Week, and the Torchlight Parade. Don't miss the hydroplane races on Lake Washington and the Key Bank Air Show featuring the U.S. Navy Blue Angels.


Seattle International Film Festival - Throughout its 34 years, SIFF has evolved into one of the leading independent and international film institutions in the United States and the world. With extensive local, national, and international media coverage, the Festival is one of Seattle’s most accessible and highly–publicized cultural events.

Seattle Marathon - The Seattle Marathon is open to runners and walkers. In 2006 it was Volkssport sanctioned. About 2000 run the marathon and 220 walk the marathon. About 6000 run the half marathon and 1200 walk the half marathon.

Skagit Valley Tulip Festival - Each year over 1000 acres of tulip, daffodil, and iris flowers in the beautiful Skagit Valley, Washington. Hundreds of thousands of visitors travel to the valley each spring to witness the spectacular bloom in progress.

The Northwest Flower & Garden Show - The Northwest Flower & Garden Show is one of the most attended event held at Seattle’s Washington State Convention & Trade Center and is the third largest spring flower show in North America.
