Amon Carter Museum of American Art - The Carter houses one of the nation’s preeminent collections of American art, from works by the early nineteenth-century artist-explorers through those of the mid-twentieth-century modernists and up to the work of contemporary photographers. The museum also holds one of the most comprehensive collections of work by Frederic Remington and Charles M. Russell.

Burger's Lake - Burger's Lake is a 30-acre park featuring a one-acre spring-fed lake for swimming. Our facility includes: Two sandy beaches for sunning; wonderful big trees for shade, a complete staff of certified lifeguards, over 300 picnic tables, six diving boards, a 20-foot slide and 25-foot trapeze, Charcoal grills for cooking, and more!

Forest Park Miniature Train - The Forest Park Miniature Railroad was built in 1958-1959. The ride is an approximately five-mile, thirty-five to forty-minute round trip from the Forest Park Depot off Colonial Parkway in Forest Park to the Duck Pond in Trinity Park and back with one stop at the Trinity Park Depot in Trinity Park.

Fort Worth Zoo - The oldest zoo in Texas, the Fort Worth Zoo was founded in 1909. From these humble beginnings, the Zoo has grown into a nationally ranked facility, housing more than 5,000 native and exotic animals. Come out of your shell with adventures in learning! Kids get up close and personal with elephants, otters, meerkats and more!


Hawaiian Falls Water Park - The Hawaiian Falls Waterpark offers rides such as The Waikiki Wipeout, which is a 62-foot high free-fall body slide. The Pipeline is two inner-tube slides for one or two riders. Try out the Pineapple Express, which is a four-lane raceway where riders go headfirst competing for the fastest time.

Kimbell Art Museum - The Museum’s holdings range in period from antiquity to the 20th century, including European masterpieces from Fra Angelico and Caravaggio to Cézanne and Matisse, and important collections of Egyptian, Near Eastern, Greek, and Roman antiquities, as well as Asian, Mesoamerican, and African arts.
