African American Museum - The African American Museum is the only museum in the Southwestern United States devoted to the preservation and display of African American artistic, cultural and historical materials. It also has one of the largest African American folk art collections in the United States. The African American Museum incorporates a wide variety of visual art forms and historical documents that portray the African American experience in the United States, Southwest, and Dallas.

Bahama Beach Waterpark - Bahama Beach Waterpark features The Riptide Slide/Bahama Bullet with two twisting, turning, enclosed inner-tube slides for two or three riders from a 45-foot high tower. The Tortugas Express where riders race headfirst down three hundred feet of a lightning fast water raceway.

Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden - Located on White Rock Lake, just outside of downtown Dallas, the Arboretum features colorful gardens all year long. Tours are available daily.
