Annual Lobster Rodeo - The Lobster Rodeo combines scuba skills stations with mini-safety briefings. Skills stations vary from basic mask clearing to controlled emergency swimming ascents and weight dropping. There also are demonstrations and contests designed to hone participants' lobster-catching skills, including tickling techniques and bagging simulated lobsters. Come join us for this unique event!

FKCC Swim Around Key West - This annual event takes place every June. It starts and ends at Higgs Beach. The Pre-Race Party is held the night before. Awards and post-race party follow that night.

Florida Keys Birding and Wildlife Festival - The Annual Florida Keys Birding and Wildlife Festival will be anchored at Curry Hammock State Park. Join local biologists for a series of guided walks at different sites across the Florida Keys, don't miss out on this great event!

Gator Club Dolphin Derby - All ocean fishermen should attend this annual event! Anglers gather together to compete to catch a dolphin fish, which is a very plentiful summertime treat for the people of the keys. This event helps raise money for college scholarships.

Hemingway Days - Whether composing novels in his Whitehead Street writing studio or fishing for big game in local waters, Pulitzer Prize-winning author Ernest Hemingway left a powerful legacy in Key West. His zest for life, literary accomplishments and enduring affection for the island he called home throughout the 1930s is commemorated during the annual Hemingway Days celebration.

Holiday Historic Inn Tour - Four enchanted evenings a year in December allows tourists and locals to experience a green Christmas like no other. The annual lighted historic inn tour is a beautiful taste of Christmas in Key West.

Key Largo Food and Wine Festival - Come on down and enjoy all of all the tasty temptations, and some of your favorite wines, as Key Largo’s culinary experts step up to the plate to show you what Key Largo has to offer multiple wine tasting events in 9 days: cooking demonstrations, wine dinners, cook book signings, art and wine “shows,” and of course Key Largo’s famous sunsets, scuba diving, tourist attractions, shopping, and a great time.

Key Largo Reef Fest - A celebration of Key Largo's coral reefs and shipwrecks. 6 nights full of scuba diving the best locations in Florida. With a kick-off party, nightly events, a closing event, and more. This is the event for the true scuba diver!


Key West Fantasy Fest - This huge festival in key west includes some awesome events! An outrageous, 10-day celebration featuring costume competitions, promenades, street fairs and a grand parade with marching groups and lavish floats.

Key West Fishing Tournament - The Key West Fishing Tournament (KWFT) is a seven-month-long competition that runs from March through November and is open to the general public. Anglers are encouraged to enter their catches at a weight station. All entries will receive a certificate noting their catch and qualify for prizes.

Key West Lobsterfest - A celebration of Key West's favorite Crustacean! This event is held every august. there will be live music, cold drinks, an of course, Fresh Lobster! The Duval Crawl begins after sunset the Friday night of the fest.

Key West World Championship Race - High-speed powerboats continue Key West’s longstanding tradition in a challenge described as the Indianapolis 500 of powerboat racing.

Mel Fisher Days - Mel Fisher, a dreamer, a visionary, a legend and most importantly, the World’s Greatest Treasure Hunter! Mel Fisher did what many have not - he realized his dream during his lifetime. His mantra continues to inspire the search for the rest of the treasure from the Nuestra Senora de Atocha and the Santa Margarita, the Spanish galleons that sank during a hurricane on September 6, 1622, near Key West, Florida. Come join us for the Mel Fisher Days where we will celebrate Fisher's sense of adventure!

Summer Coral Camp - Coral Camp provides a unique learning experience for kids aged 6-12. Campers learn all about our living coral reef ecosystem through interactive field trips, film and activities at the Reef Relief Environmental Center.

Underwater Music Festival - The quirky underwater concert takes place at Looe Key Reef, an area of the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary approximately six miles south of Big Pine Key. Each year, the subsea songfest draws as many as 600 divers and snorkelers to explore the colorful diversity of marine life that characterizes continental America's only living coral barrier reef.
