Denver Firefighters Museum - Houses an extensive archive of old photographs, documents, certificates, journals and news stories about early Denver and the development of firefighting technology. Castle Rock Museum - Preserves and explores the history of Castle Rock and the surrounding areas, sharing their passion for local history with the community and visitors alike.

Morrison Natural History Museum - Offers a glimpse of the first important dinosaur discoveries in Colorado including fossils from the first Stegosaurus and Apatosaurus ever discovered. Exhibits also offer an overview of local life history.

Firing Line - Whether it be a pistol for self defense, learning to shoot that pistol or a top end hunting rifle it is all available at the Firing-Line. With it's indoor shooting range and over 1500 firearms in inventory the sporting public will never become bored here.

Butterfly Pavilion & Insect Center - The only stand alone non-profit insect zoo in the nation. Come see these small but fascinating creatures up close.

Denver Zoo - Houses more than 4,000 animals representing nearly 685 species - 157 of which are threatened or endangered. The Denver Zoo's animal collection is the 7th most diverse in the United States and represents animals from North and South America, Asia, Africa and Europe.

Colorado Railroad Museum - Recognized as one of the best privately supported rail museums in the United States. This "can't miss" site for the rail fans features over 70 historic narrow and standard gauge locomotives and cars exhibited on 15 acres at the foot of North Table Mountain, near Golden.
