Arabian Horse Show - Since 1955 the Annual Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show has set the pace in the Arabian horse world. The first show was held at the grounds of the Arizona Biltmore Hotel which was a beautiful setting for a horse show. The Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show was a first class show from the very first day.

Arizona Aloha Festival - Marketplace and Lath House stages are filled with performing groups from Arizona and surrounding states. Guest artist groups have joined us from Hawaii, New Zealand, and the Cook Islands.

Arizona Renaissance Festival - Fun for all. A medieval amusement park, a 12-stage theater, a 30-acre circus, an arts and crafts fair, a jousting tournament and a feast -- all rolled into one non-stop, day-long family adventure!

Arizona Special Olympics Summer Games - An inspiring annual event that features persons with intellectual disabilities and closely-related developmental disabilities in sporting events to inspire and enhance their lives. Special Olympics Arizona has grown to 9,100+ athletes, 24 sports, 172 year-round competitions and multiple support programs.

Barrett-Jackson Antique Auto Auction - Six days of antique car auctions selling collector cars from all vintages including celebrity-owned cars and motorcycles. All with the excitement of a world-class rock concert.

WM Phoenix Open - Played in North Scottsdale and annually sporting the largest crowds on the PGA TOUR, the FBR Open has gained legendary status on TOUR for being unlike any other golf tournament.

Fiesta Bowl - Tostitos Fiesta Bowl has the opportunity to host the champion of the Big 12 Conference and another of the nation’s top college football teams at University of Phoenix Stadium.

Festival of the West - Come and enjoy a great time with music, food and contests at the Festival of the West. Family was important in the old west and that focus is carried on at The National Festival of the West. Friday is Kids Day with children admitted Free of Charge to explore and learn about the old west. There are plenty of great children's activities held every day at the Festival.


Fountain Hills Great Fair - This three-day art fair features nearly 450 artists and artisans from across the United States and around the globe, and attracts over 200,000 visitors.

Lost Dutchman Days - Over the years the Lost Dutchman Days has become a family favorite! Many improvements have taken place, various Arenas utilized for the Rodeo, different streets became the Parade route, and various locations for the Rodeo Dance, providing quality entertainment and fun for all ages.

Ostrich Festival - Ostrich races complete with human jockeys are a sight unique to Chandler! The festival is a three-day family event which includes ostrich events and more than 150 exhibitors selling a fantastic array of arts, crafts, goods, and food in a festive environment.

Scottsdale Culinary Festival - As the longest running festival of its kind in the United States, the Scottsdale Culinary Festival draws more than 40,000 visitors looking to enjoy fabulous food, fun and festivities!

World's Championship Hoop Dance Contest - The World Champion Hoop Dancer title draws together top Native hoop dancers from across North America to compete for the world title in one spectacular weekend. During performances, dancers will incorporate speed and agility as they manipulate their bodies through one to more than 50 hoops.

ZooLights at the Phoenix Zoo - ZooLights is one of the largest holiday light shows in the southwest with 2.5 million lights, hundreds of custom lighted animal displays, carousel rides, camel rides, wagon rides and more!

Scottsdale International Film Festival - The Scottsdale International Film Festival is the only event in the community that specifically focuses on foreign film. The Scottsdale International Film Festival’s mission is to be the undisputed Arizona leader in the use of film to foster a meaningful understanding of the world’s cultures, lifestyles, religions, and ethnicities.

Celebration of Fine Art - It's like visiting 100 artist's studios in less than a day. The juried artists come from across the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom to set up working studios to create sculpture, ceramics, paintings, drawings, wall hangings, jewelry, blown glass, kaleidoscopes, photography, furniture and woven baskets.

Fit City - Held in late January at various venues in downtown Scottsdale, such as the Kiva Center, the Main Street Plaza, the Stagebrush Theater, and the Brown and Main Street Farmer’s Market. Celebrate and promote good health. Fit City Scottsdale and its partners work together to promote healthy lifestyle choices in our community that will lead us to be the fittest city in America.
