Located
in Sheridan in northcentral Wyoming near the Montana state border. This
13,748 square foot mansion was built in the flemish Revival style and
allows a glimpse into the life the the John B Kendrick family. Exhibits
and displays throughout the house provide information on daily life
between 1913 and 1933. You can take a self-guided tour of the mansion
and the grounds or arrange for a guided tour.
Located
in northwestern Wyoming about 10 miles south of Yellowstone. Activities
here include hiking, camping, horseback riding, climbing, fishing, swimming,
boating, canoeing and biking. There are 3 scenic drives in the park.
There are 200 miles of hiking trails in the park with hikes ranging
from easy to strenuous. The Snake River flows through the park and offers
world-class fishing and mild rapids. In the winter, cross-country skiing
and snowshoeing are popular in the park but the park does not groom
any trails.
