February 21-22 - Winter Festival, Cedarburg - The first event of the year, Winter Festival, began as an antidote for winter time cabin fever. There is always a silly theme for this weekend festival. June 24-28, June 30 - July 5 - Summerfest, Milwaukee - The Summerfest in Milwaukee features some of the biggest names in music. Held at a lakefront venue, the Summerfest combines natural beauty with great entertainment and activities. Initially thought up as an event to unite Milwaukee the Summerfest has grown to be one of the premier summer events held in the city. July 2-4 - Manawa Mid-Western Rodeo, Manawa - In addition to traditional rodeo events such as calf-roping and bull riding, the Manawa Mid-Western Rodeo features live music and free dances every night. Also, on Thursday night there will be a fireworks show following the rodeo. July 6-12 - Sauk County Fair, Baraboo - With events ranging from animal judging to tractor pulls and hot air balloon rides, the Sauk County Fair features a number of fun, exciting events which will keep you coming back year after year. July 9-12 - Hodag Country Festival, Rhinelander - The Hodag Country Festival held each year in Rhinelander, Wisconsin. This event is dedicated to bringing the best in country music to Northern Wisconsin. As such, the event is one of Wisconsin's premier country music festivals. July 15-19 - Barron County Fair, Rice Lake - The Barron County Fair features fun and unique events such as: the kiddie pedal tractor pull, a junior livestock picnic, and harness races. July 15-19 - Waukesha County Fair, Waukesha - The Waukesha County Fair is the oldest fair in Wisconsin. July 18 - 19 - Festival of Arts, Bayfield - Held on the shore of Lake Superior, the Wisconsin Festival of the Arts hosts over 90 artists from across the United States in a setting as beautiful as their works. July 30 - August 2 - Polk County Fair, St. Croix Falls - The Polk County Fair is a yearly event held in St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin. September 19-20 - Wine & Harvest Festival, Cedarburg - This colorful weekend is loaded with the bounty of fall.
