Austin Nature and Science Center - Explore the natural world on the western edge of Zilker Park with the Austin Nature and Science Center. Enjoy wild life exhibits, A Natural Workshop and Trade Counter and learn about life in the pre-historic Dino Pit.

Texas State Capitol - The Texas Capitol is an extraordinary example of late 19th century public architecture and is widely recognized as one of the nation's most distinguished state capitols. It was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1970 and designated a National Historic Landmark in 1986 for its "significant contribution to American history."

Austin Duck Adventures - The tour goes through downtown, to the State Capitol, and the Governor's Mansion. Then you waddle on down to the LBJ Library, Sixth Street's music district, historic Congress Avenue. Then onto Lake Austin where you take a splash-literally into the lake! Best have your camera ready for some great shots of Austin, Texas.

Rodeo Austin - Headliner shows, prize livestock, and rodeo action grab the spotlight as Austin puts on a city-wide cowboy hat for western-style action!

Austin Ice Cream Festival - Around the first week in August, the public and their pets are welcome to play games and enjoy live entertainment, and lots of ice cream, at Waterloo Park on Trinity. It is an event centered around family, fun, and ice cream which harkens back to a time when ice cream trucks roamed the streets and running through sprinklers was an art form.

Free Sunday Concerts - Each year, Austin Symphony members present a summer of free Sunday evening ensemble concerts from late May through late August at the Long Center Terrace in Hartman Park. Concertgoers often bring picnic fare.
