Quick Facts

Boone Hall Plantation - America's most photographed Plantation. In 1743, the son of Major John Boone planted live oak trees, arranging them in two evenly spaced rows. This spectacular approach to his home symbolizes southern heritage and will take root in your memory for many years to come. It would take two centuries for the massive, moss-draped branches to meet overhead.

Fort Sumter Tours - After boarding, you will experience a relaxing 30 minute cruise through Charleston's historic harbor out to Fort Sumter. The tour is fully narrated and explains many points of interest and historic significance. After one hour at the Fort, you will cruise back to port, enjoying panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean and Charleston's bustling harbor.

Children's Museum of the Lowcountry - Kids can race boats down rapids, climb aboard a Lowcountry pirate ship, make it rain indoors, or grow vegetables in our all-organic kids garden. They can race golf balls down a roller coaster to see physics in action, shop for "real" groceries while learning healthy eating habits, and create inspired masterpieces every day in our dedicated art center.

Restaurants

A. W. Shucks Seafood Restaurant and Oyster Bar - Once an old Warehouse is now a charming restaurant. There’s the popular raw bar, of course, which serves pails of steamed oysters year-round. Shuck’s also offers delicious shrimp, scallop, crab, and oyster dishes, prepared just about any way you like. The top-secret recipe for our legendary Lowcountry Seafood Casserole brings locals and visitors from miles around!

Mistral Restaurant and Bar - With wonderful food our location has an off-the-beaten-path ambiance with year-round patio dining, water views, and an outdoor fireplace. Mistral’s New American cuisine is thus very Mediterranean-influenced, and focuses on serving the best local ingredients available.

Bocci's Italian Restaurant - In our kitchen at Bocci’s, the feasting of past generations is re-created. Hand-pulled mozzarella and fresh grated Parmesan cheese, pastas made on premises, homemade sauces, and bread baked daily are all traditions which, in true Italian custom, reflect our love and commitment for simple, good food.
