May 2 - Blossomtime Festival, St. Joseph - A spring-themed festival, the Blossomtime Festival consists of a parade and a beauty pageant. It is a fun local event that has helped to bring the community together. May 16-17 - East Lansing Art Festival, East Lansing - Rated as one of the top Art Festivals in the country, the East Lansing Art Festival draws an estimated attendance of 75,000 from all over the Michigan and Midwest region.
