Greenfield Village - Entering Greenfield Village is like stepping into an 80-acre time machine. It takes you back to the sights, sounds and sensations of America’s past. There are 83 authentic, historic structures, from Noah Webster’s home, where he wrote the first American dictionary, to Thomas Edison’s Menlo Park laboratory, to the courthouse where Abraham Lincoln practiced law. Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History - The world's largest institution dedicated to the African American experience. The Museum provides exhibitions and programs that explore the diversity of African American history and is home to the Blanche Coggin Underground Railroad Collection, Harriet Tubman Museum Collection, Coleman A. Young Collection and the Sheffield Collection. Bouncin' Kidz Party Central - Indoor inflatable party place featuring giant slides, obstacle courses, basketball bouncers and more. Detroit Music Awards - DMA awards are similar to the Grammy Awards. Award winners are determined by local musicians and music industry professionals in southeast Michigan, and presented in ten music genres; Folk/Acoustic, Blues, Jazz, Gospel, Country, Classical, Rock/Pop, R&B/Hip-Hop, Electronic and World. The DMA is the only local music awards in the nation to be presented by a not-for-profit organization. Ann Arbor Film Festival - The Ann Arbor Film Festival is the longest-running independent and experimental film festival in North America. Started as a critical, alternative forum for filmmakers and artists to publicly share their work- Today the festival continues its focus on the art of film, serving as one of the country’s premier showcases for bold, visionary, experimental and independent filmmakers. Plymouth Ice Festival - Created specifically for the love of winter, the Plymouth Ice Festival will feature over 100 ice sculptures, live entertainment, interactive family shows, winter-themed tasty treats and a variety of additional events to interest all ages.
