It's
more than a museum, it's an attraction the whole family can enjoy! Hundreds
of cars from the early teen to the late 70's. Largest collection of
famous TV and Movie cars, like the Batmobile! Fifty Thousand square
feet of antiques and gifts, Military Museum, Betty's Diner and so much
more. Kids love us! Spend the entire day.
Located
in Utica, 100 SW of Chicago. This park has 13 miles of hiking trails
for all skill levels. Guided hikes are offered year round. There are
waterfalls in most of the 18 canyons in the park but some of the most
scenic ones are found in St. Louis, French, Wildcat, Tonty, Ottawa and
Kaskaskia canyons. The best time to see waterfalls are in the spring
when the snow melts or after a heavy rainfall. In the winter, you can
see a spectacular icefall. Enjoy water activities from paddle boats
to water cruises. You can even rent a houseboat for the weekend or go
whitewater rafting or kayaking. Trolley tours, horseback riding, camping,
fishing and canal boat rides are some of the other activities offered
here.
