High Sierra Inland Empire

Alpine Meadows Ski Area - Alpine Meadows Ski Resort is located in the Tahoe National Forest at Lake Tahoe's north shore and covers 2,000 acres of terrain.

Badger Pass Ski Area in Yosemite - Since its opening in 1935, the Badger Pass Ski Area has been a favorite vacation spot for generations of skiers. Today, California's original ski resort in the spectacular Sierra Nevada is still an ideal place to learn to ski.

Bear Valley Mountain Resort - Bear Valley Ski Area offers spectacular scenic views of the Sierra Mountains.  The resort offers 67 trails serviced by 11 lifts (2 triple, 7 double and 2 surface).

Boreal Mountain Resort - Boreal offers nine lifts and 41 runs on two mountainsides.  Boreal is also home to the Vans Boarder Park and Half Pipe Cutter.

Dodge Ridge Ski Area - The closest ski resort from the Bay Area, Dodge Ridge recently added the Boulder Creek Canyon expansion area which is the biggest expansion in the state of California. Boulder Creek Canyon, offers 265 acres of new terrain.

Donner Ski Ranch - Located in the town of Norden, Donner Ski Ranch is just 45 miles west of Reno Nevada.  The resort offers 435 acres of terrain - 25% Beginner, 50% Intermediate, 25% Advanced.

Granlibakken Ski Resort - Granlibakken Ski Resort offers 10 acres of skiable terrain.

Heavenly Ski Resort - Heavenly Ski Resort is located in the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range at Monument Peak.  The resort offers 4,800 acres of skiable terrain and overlooks the south shore of Lake Tahoe.

Homewood Moutain Resort - Located on the west shore of Lake Tahoe, Homewood Mountain Resort offers 56 runs, 15% beginner, 35% advanced and 50% intermediate.

June Mountain - Located just 20 miles north of Mammoth, June is tucked away in a protected nook surrounded by craggy mountains and views that go on forever.  The 2,590 vertical feet of terrain features tree-lined trails accessed by eight lifts and some of the best lift ticket prices in California.

Kirkwood Ski Resort - Located at 7,800 feet, Kirkwood has the highest base elevation of all Northern California ski resorts.  The resort features 12 lifts and 2,300 acres of skiable terrain.

Mammoth Mountain - Mammoth Mountain provides over 3,500 acres of amazing High Sierra terrain – wide open bowls, steep chutes, tree-lined cruisers, terrain parks and half pipes.  The resort offers more than 150 trails and 30 lifts for skiers and riders of all ages and abilities. 

Montecito-Sequoia Resort - Discover the best cross country skiing in the  southern Sierra Nevada.

Northstar at Tahoe - Northstar opened in 1972, and over the years, has become a popular destination ski resort for skiers and snowboarders of all levels.  Northstar's Mount Pluto and Lookout Mountain offer 63 trails covering 2,420 acres of downhill variety.

Royal Gorge Cross-Country Ski Resort - Royal Gorge Cross Country Ski Resort offers you an extensive network of trails over thousands of acres of snow-clad wilderness in the majestic Sierra Nevada mountains.

Shirley Meadows Ski Resort - Shirley Meadows, located in the Sequoia National Forest, in the Greenhorn Mountains, is approximately 50 miles east of Bakersfield.  The resort offers 80 acres of skiable terrain.

China Peak - China Peak offers a total of 400 acres of skiable terrain with runs up to 2-1/4 miles long.  The resort features three double chairs, two triple chairs, a T-bar and two beginner tows.

Sierra at Tahoe Ski Resort - Sierra at Tahoe is one of the best mountains in Tahoe. Great terrain, some of the best snow you'll find anywhere, a new SuperPipe and three high-speed quads that will make sure you can cover all of it.  The resort offers 2,000 acres of skiable terrain.

Soda Springs Winter Resort - Soda Springs offers 200 acres of skiable terrain, 4 lifts and offers activities for the entire family including skiing, tubing, snowboarding, sledding and snow shoeing.

Squaw Valley USA - Squaw Valley USA boasts over 4000 acres spread over six peaks, and accessed by the most advanced lift system in the world.  The resort enjoys an annual snowpack of over 450 inches, and an abundance of warm California sunshine nearly 300 days of the year.

Sugar Bowl Ski Resort - Home to the first chairlift in California and the first gondola in the country, Sugar Bowl is the grand dame of Tahoe resorts. Known for its rich history and deep powder, you'll find 1,500 acres of challenging terrain, four picturesque mountain peaks serviced by thirteen lifts, including, three high speed detachable quads, and three day lodges with spectacular sun decks.

Tamarack Cross-Country Ski Center - Tamarack’s Cross Country Ski and Snowshoe Center offers miles of groomed trails for the ultimate aerobic workout in a pristine, forested setting. The Lodge is located on Twin Lakes in the Mammoth Lakes Basin, a stunning area that has been enjoyed by generations of cross country skiers, fisherman and outdoor enthusiasts.

Tahoe Donner Downhill Ski Area - Tahoe Donner offers 120 skiable acres, 14 runs, 60% intermediate and 40% novice, 1 quad chair, 1 double chair and a surface tow.  The Tahoe Donner ski area is the perfect resort for families.


Big Bear Mountain Resort - Big Bear Mountain Resort is Southern California's steepest and highest ski resort at 8,805 feet.  The resort offers four mountain peaks, 12 lifts and 32 trails for skiers of all ages and abilities.

Mountain High Resort - Mountain High is Southern California's most popular winter destination with more natural snow each season than any other resort in the region.  Located just 90 minutes from Los Angeles, the area welcomes its guests with two distinctly different mountains, four terrain parks and a wide variety of lifts and trails.

Mt. Baldy - Located in the Inland Empire, Mt. Baldy offers snow boarding, all levels of ski lifts, mountain skiing, great snow, occasional powder, spring skiing, and more!

Ski Sunrise - Located just 90 minutes from downtown Los Angeles and 4 miles west of Wrightwood, Ski Sunrise offers a quad aerial lift, two surface lifts and one rope tow which service 24 runs.  

Snow Summit Mountain Resort - Skiers and snowboarders enjoy 12 lifts, including two high-speed quads that make getting around the mountain is easy with service to 31 trails and 1,200 feet of vertical.  Snow Summit is also world renowned for its innovative freestyle parks and overall dedication to snowboarding. 

Snow Valley Mountain Resort - Snow Valley's features more than 240 acres of powdery terrain. Skiers and boarders co-exist harmoniously on every part of the mountain. With wide open runs to challenging moguls, Snow Valley has something for skiers and boarders of every level.

Rim Nordic & Green Valley Nordic - At a base elevation of 6775' , Rim Nordic Ski Area is located in the beautiful San Bernardino Mountains in Southern California.  The resort offers 20 kilometers of trails.

Mt. Shasta Board & Ski Park - Built in 1985 Mt. Shasta Ski Park is the newest winter resort in California and one of the newest in the entire United States.
