Parashant National MonumentThe Grand Canyon-Parashant National Monument is located on the edge of one of the most beautiful places on Earth - the Grand Canyon. Situated on the Colorado Plateau in northwestern Arizona, within the drainage of the Colorado River, the monument borders Grand Canyon National Park to the south, and the state of Nevada to the west, and encompasses a portion of Lake Mead National Recreation Area.

Today, visitors enjoy the solitude and the quiet that this remote monument offers. Breathtaking views into wild, unspoiled areas in the country can be found by traveling to the viewpoints located on the edge of the plateau.

The Interagency Information Center is located in the Lobby of the BLM Office in St. George, Utah. Visitors can plan and prepare for a safe and enjoyable adventure into the Grand Canyon-Parashant National Monument. The Center also offers maps, field guides, books and more.

Getting There:
