Questacon - Experience an earthquake, see lightning made before your eyes, understand the science of cooking a meal, throwing a ball or making a telephone call. The centre offers more than 200 exhibits.

Royal Australian Mint - Visitors to the Royal Australian Mint can enjoy an explanation of coins and coin production, see money being made, make their own coin or buy collector coins and souvenirs.

National Film and Sound Archive - The National Film and Sound Archive is dedicated to preserving Australia's video and musical heritage. The archive has collected over 2 million audiovisual works during its existence. The archive offers a unique look into the culture of Australia as portrayed through the audiovisual arts.

Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve - At Tidbinbilla you can glimpse the past way of life of Aboriginal people as well as the stories of European settlers.  You can walk among kangaroos, wallabies, koalas, birds and other wildlife in their own habitat.
